The country house “Valle del Metauro” rises from the building restoration of the family old farm-house. In this reconstruction, natural and essential materials have been preferred, such as old bricks, flat paving tiles, wood and wrought iron, in order to re-create the milieu of the country traditions and the sphere of the past times.The resort is completely integrated among the green of the surrounding hills, which flank the valley of the Metauro river, right in the Commune of Montemaggiore al Metauro (197m above sea level), at a middle position from the Furlo gorge and the city of Fano.

The country house structure is made up by twelve apartments, set out in two different buildings. All flats are marked by the name of a flower and each one has got its own independent entrance, garden, air conditioning and satellite television.
The milieus of all apartments remind style and sphere of the local traditions; they have ceiling with wooden beams at sight and wooden doors with old iron handles and hinges. The furniture, in farmhouse style, called “Arte povera”, preserves, unchanged, the atmosphere and the warmth of the past. Eight apartments can put up from 2 to 4 guests and they are provided with a kitchen, which is supplied with tools, a living room with sofa bed, a double-room, a bathroom with shower and a small room before it, with hair-drier.
Four bigger apartments, can give hospitality to 5 up to 8 persons; they have a second bedroom and an upper stage, where a warm, small living room and a comfortable single bedroom have been made out of.
The guests can enjoy a wide swimming pool, which has been placed in the middle of a big garden which surrounds the building; they can also enjoy a hydro massage zone as well as a solarium zone, fit out with sun beds, chairs, deck-chairs, and large sunshades.
The farm-house also has a restaurant zone where, besides the reception and the bar corner, you can find a large and comfortable hall for breakfasts and dinners. You’ll find the traditional and plain cooking, with typical dishes and products from our region, with all its remarkable culinary art.
For people who like to take a walk and to give themselves up completely to nature, there’s a green path which goes from the garden up to the hillock of olives. There, you’ll find two relax areas, overlooking the whole building, as from a terrace. The hillock is surrounded by hedges made of lauro nobilis and photinia, by olives and cypresses, lavender bushes, rosemary and cotoneaster. In that immense stillness, you can only hear the warbling of birds, which in thousands live among those plants.
